I wore this dress for my San Francisco wedding in late 2009. I purchased it from a bridal and evening gown boutique in San Carlos, CA called Rin's Bridal.
This dress was worn only once on the actual wedding day. Some photos were taken outside on the grounds of the property we rented for the event. Most of the time was spent indoors.
This dress is pristine condition. I am meticulous with all of my clothes, so you can imagine that I took extra care with a sentimental dress.
Normally, I would have kept the dress in the keepsake box, but I am moving out of the country and would like to forego putting things into storage. Can't take everything with me!
My primary reasons for purchasing this dress were:
Comfort: despite all of the beautiful delicate beading and layers of fabric in the trumpet, this dress is flowy, light, and easy to wear Color: not exactly champagne but deeper than most ivory dresses. Looks fabulous on olive or yellow skin tones and with gold accessories. Style: glamorous yet romantic, dressed-up boho, sexy! Material: silky underlayer with wide-gauge fishnet and lace overlay. Beautiful pearly beading, tiny sequins and gold threading make this dress a standout and truly unique Fit: While the bodice is very curve hugging and slim, the train flares out to a surprisingly wide size, creating a circular pool of intricate lace, fishnet, sequins, and beading. This is truly a bombshell dress with a soft romantic twist. You will look and feel like a celebrity bride!
Also included: Removable silk sash- I wore the dress with a sash I made from Italian raw silk purchased at Britex Fabrics in San Francisco. No alterations were made to the dress to accommodate the sash, it is totally optional to wear it. I like how it added some definition to my waist.
Bridal veil- Chapel length veil (76'') with comb and additional blusher layer. Gold thread and pearl bead trim on the chapel-length layer
The bridal veil and sash are optional. If you do not wish to receive them with the dress, I can remove them.
