I worked directly with Pnina Tornai and her lead designer at Kleinfeld's in New York City to come up with a completely custom design. We used the top of one dress as inspiration, and then took the fabric from a skirt from another dress, but used that fabric to make a shape that resembled the skirt on a third dress. Pnina herself sketched the design and sent me a muslin to try on to get the shape right. After that, the dress was made from scratch, by hand, completely custom by Pnina's team in Israel. We also added a custom belt, sown onto the gown, with a large jewel in the middle.
