Allure Bridal- this is a gorgeous gown! It has been worn in two weddings! It's very much like "the sisterhood of the traveling wedding dress"! A traditional church wedding, and my own beach wedding. This is a timeless dress, in my opinion. It has a vintage quality, and will fit many types of weddings. I love the lace of the dress, it's unique- NOT old lady lace! But I didn't see myself as a " lace" girl...I did not want to try it on, but a store owner insisted, and I FELL IN LOVE! I was struggling with how expensive it was, for a second wedding...then happened upon it used- and it was meant to be! It is very comfortable, and light- has tank style straps - no worries about "slippage"! I have a small son, who walked me down the isle, and I didn't want to worry if i had to pick him up, and wanted to be comfortable. The dress is actually two pieces, satin slip underneath, (cafe color) and the ivory lace overlay with silver embroidery and beading. Deep V in back with satin covered buttons, and a sweep train, that bustles. The previous bride and myself share similar measurements- she is 5'5", and wore 2 inch heels.. I am 5'7", and was barefoot. Several friends have tried it on, and it really looks amazing on various shapes! We each only wore dress for a short time, and there are no stains, the dress is in excellent condition!
