The story behind this dress is like a fairytale :) I am a curvy girl (6’0? and 220lbs) – always have been and dread most kinds of shopping. Especially wedding dress shopping. I went to an absolutely fabulous dress store in Middletown, CT (Lastrina Girls Bridal) and managed to work with the most friendly, honest and compassionate dress store owner until we found THIS -the perfect dress!!! It hugs the curves I wanted it to (while artfully masking those I didn’t) and required no alterations. It was SUCH a relief to feel pretty at my size – I never felt beautiful before the frst time I put this dress on. I tried on about 8 other dresses in her store and kept asking “Can I try the La Sposa Solsana dress just ONE more time???”…that’s how I knew. For a girl who hate’s shopping, and didn’t always have the most confidence in herself as a woman, I felt spectacular wearing this dress. It was EXTREMELY light weight, VERY easy to move in, and flowed nicely as I moved around all day. NEVER required my bridesmaids to fluff it, straighten it out or follow me around to make sure it was laying “just right”. The dress effortlessly did all the work for us. Aside from my amazing new husband, this dress made me feel like a new, beautiful and confident woman. If I was getting married all over again, I would do it in this dress :)
